The core outline dimensions of all G3 monitors had not changed and remain dimensionally drop in replacements to all previous revisions within the family of products. That is a FPM-154 and FPM-154 “G3” fit in the same location exactly.  

The only electromechanical change has been to have all I/O exiting from the bottom edge of the display rather then the Left side [When viewed from the front of the unit].
Why the Change?
  • The “Bottom Cable Exit” configuration what selected due to the large number of projects that require connectors for special functions. With the previous side exit cable design the area available where connectors could be located was severely limited.
  • All internal cable lengths could be reduced, reducing EMI.
